 注视方向是人际互动中的重要社会线索。研究发现,感知到他人直视时,个体的记忆成绩会更好。然而,直视记忆优势是否受学习材料中情绪信息的调节仍需进一步探讨。本研究采用学习-再认范式,以五年级儿童为研究对象,以情绪词和中性面孔图片为实验材料,通过两个实验探讨了感知到的注视方向与情绪效价对词语记忆的影响。结果显示,在消极词条件下存在直视记忆优势,而积极词和中性词却未表现出该优势。这些结果表明,直视记忆优势会受到情绪效价的调节,儿童会对消极情绪信息表现出直视记忆优势。
Abstract:
 Gaze direction is a crucial cue in social interactions.Previous studies have demonstrated that memory performance improves when individuals perceive direct gaze compared to averted gaze.However,it remains unclear whether the direct-gaze memory advantage is influenced by the emotional content of the learning material.This study investigates the effects of perceived gaze direction and emotional valence on word memory in fifth-grade children,employing a learning-recognition paradigm with emotional words and neutral face images across two experiments.Results indicated a direct-gaze memory advantage specifically for negative words,whereas memory for neutral or positive words was not influenced by gaze direction.These findings suggest that the memory advantage conferred by direct gaze is moderated by emotional valence,with individuals exhibiting a pronounced memory benefit for negative emotional information under direct gaze conditions.
